This is the journey of Jeremiah’s reclaimed ladders shelving unit. The ladders and shelving were all found on the property. We also used the left over bowling alley that fit like a glove without needing any modifications! I love his ideas and the results!!!

Some more things getting built and finished! I do wish I had better quality photos but the photographer’s wife has only her iphone camera. That’s almost as good as the shoemaker’s wife goes barefoot, right? Kitchen cabinets in! Speaking of kitchen our Aunt Lynne donated that big beautiful sink and she re-paned the window we found in the barn! Thanks Aunt Lynne!! Soon appliances installed and running water!! New floors have been put in the bedroom, soon the rest, except kitchen gets to keep it’s original floors. Jeremiah patched it with other bits reclaimed floor from other parts of the house. Pretty crafty!! It’s getting some paint on the walls today and some other stuff! Come to our house and get a double cappuccino latte! Once we figure out how the machine works…thanks Uncle Joe!!!! The bathroom has it’s original floors too, but no toilet yet. The plumbers come next week to make that happen!!! Our new projected move date is March 17th! Fingers crossed!!!

SO we are inching our way to move in date, hopefully in a couple of weeks? All we need is to finish the kitchen, put in a floor, build a bed, well a lot more so who knows maybe a couple of more weeks than a couple weeks, but hey it’s really starting to come together and feel like home! This most recent batch of pictures are not so spectacular but give the general idea of what is happening. We just got the salvaged bowling alley floor for our counter tops, it’s really beautiful, if anyone needs some for their projects, we know a guy $10 a foot, he has a lot of it. Also the wainscoting that Miah put in is all salvaged from our property, I really love it!

Jeremiah working hard!!! Looks like fun to me though! This is the entrance to the “mudroom” by the way. Exciting stuff!
